Blueforce donates new PA and CCTV systems to North Beach Rugby League Football Club as part of Bluewatch community program

Blueforce today donated and installed a new CCTV network and PA system at North Beach Rugby League Football Club, aimed at reducing theft and break-ins and ensuring the club’s audio-visual system provides peak performance for game days and club functions.

A team of experienced Blueforce technicians were assigned to install ten high quality 8MP CCTV cameras at keylocations throughout the club rooms and building  exterior, along with eight internal speakers and four outdoor horn speakers.

The sound system was integrated with the existing in-house television and projector, linked to a new zone-controlled amplifier and two wireless microphones allowing coverage of the sporting field and wider club precinct.

Donated and discounted equipment was provided by local suppliers Central Security Distribution and Audio Source, ensuring the very latest technology could be delivered to the club.

The installation is part of Blueforce’s growing Bluewatch community initiative, designed to deliver integrated security, audio-visual and CCTV solutions to local community organisations in need.

After receiving grant funding earlier this year for a community operated CCTV network in their local Tuart Hill’s business precinct, Blueforce’s Managing Director Dale Lofts was inspired to develop an ongoing program for
further community-based projects.

“Community organisations usually rely heavily on members volunteering their resources and time to get things done, and often struggle to maintain or upgrade infrastructure to get the most out of their facilities,” said Mr Lofts.

“Organisations like North Beach get very little help but are a cornerstone for most communities.” “We realised that our annual team-building day offered a fantastic opportunity to get involved with these organisations and donate labour and equipment to provide something meaningful to our local community.

“Moving forward, each year Blueforce will focus our team-building event on delivering similar projects to community-based organisations in need.”

The program is open to all community organisations across Perth, including charities, support services, sports clubs, recreation centres and welfare groups, with next round applications opening on 1stFebruary 2019.

Mr Lofts announced the expanded Bluewatch program alongside North Beach Rugby League Football Club’s President Chris Dever, at a lively sundowner held at the newly fitted-out club rooms.

“The new CCTV system donated by Blueforce not only reduces the risk of break-ins and criminal damage to club assets, it also allows us to improve our internal governance,” said Mr Dever.

“Management will be able to use footage to ensure compliance with club standards, enabling us to better protect our staff and patrons.

“The upgraded PA system is user-friendly for more effective communication with patrons at functions and on game days, and we can generate greater income from hiring out better appointed facilities.

“Blueforce’s Bluewatch initiative has been a significant help in ensuring our club has a sustainable future.”

Mr Lofts was keen to encourage other local organisations to apply for the program.

“Seeing what this can do for a club like North Beach has really encouraged us and has given the club such a great opportunity to improve their security and management, as well as increase their revenue.

“Today we made a difference, added value to Blueforce as a company, and built on the culture within our business.

“Blueforce is a licensed security provider with an experienced and motivated team, and we relish the opportunity to all get together under the same roof and use our expertise to make a real difference in the wider community.

“Every one of our team got involved in some way, the enthusiasm was infectious, and seeing everyone go the extra mile showed that it’s about more than work, it’s what you can do for others.”
