‘NEXT GEN Young Leaders Forum’ brings together aged care professionals to grow careers and drive change

Presented by Leading Age Services Australia and proudly sponsored by Blueforce, the upcoming NEXT GEN Young Leaders Forum is an exciting initiative designed to develop, support and discuss young professionals’ careers in aged care and services for the elderly.

In the face of a significant increase of our elderly population, both in Perth and across Australia, the NEXT GEN forum aims to attract, engage, and support young leaders already working in aged care, or considering a career in this innovative and dynamic industry.

“The combination of increasing demand for age services, the emerging need for renewal and growth of the current workforce, and the desire for new ideas, technologies and models of care to meet the changing needs of the growing numbers of older Australians, make the NEXT GEN initiative a program of national importance for the age services industry,” says LASA CEO Sean Rooney.

With input from young professionals and industry leaders, including Blueforce’s very own Richard Holland and Sam Lofts, the forum promises to be an insightful and collaborative look at the changing face of aged care, the role young people can play in driving change, and the many ways our bright leaders are already contributing to the aged care industry.

If you are a young professional working in the aged care industry, or want to find out more about embarking on a career in this dynamic industry, don’t miss this chance to add your voice to the conversation!
