Our team recently visited the ACSWA State Conference 2017, focusing on the future of aged care and community services in Western Australia.
Hot topics were the importance and flexibility of consumer driven care (CDC), the rise of in-home app-based care solutions, and how health and care service providers can navigate the industry’s new market paradigm and adapt to deregulation and understanding brand value.
Of particular interest was the importance of encouraging customers to take an active role in determining the care they receive. Blueforce’s range of Blueassist personal emergency response units are an example of products designed to encourage customers to remain independent for longer.
